How strong is fiberglass?
Fiberglass is a super strong material that can take a
beating! The product is more and more used in rock
crawling and for suspension springs. We have hit,
bumped, and scraped our products on rocks and have
only taken off the paint. Fiberglass is favored over metal
because it is lightweight but still has great strength. Your
vehicle will not be bogged down! Which means better gas
mileage and less wear and tear on your vehicle.
Fiberglass has bend and flex unlike steel. The great thing
about fiberglass is that if it cracks or breaks it is easily
repairable as apposed to other products. Our fiberglass
bumpers are 1/4" thick of heavy duty fiberglass! These

look and feel like heavy duty metal bumpers, but only weigh 35lbs.(vs. over 100lbs. that a steel bumper
weighs). Go Berserk bumper are 67" wide and give you an advantage off road because of their
designed approach angle.
The Go Berserk winch bumper only weighs 55lbs. with the mounting plate. The winch mounts onto a
1/4" steel plate that bolt directly to the frame. The 1/4" fiberglass bumper then bolt onto the steel plate
using 4 stainless steel bolts. Some simple body work needs to be done for a snug fit of the bumper. The
bumpers have been hit, scraped, and banged up, and have only had the paint taken off. These light
weight super strong bumpers are a must have!
